Principal, Institute College

The Institute  College  is one of the academic units at EBONITE Institute of education.  The College was established in 2010 and its tasked with providing knowledge and expertise in the education domain and in the all area. In order to achieve this, the College offers long term training programmes in various levels such as QT, diploma and certificate. Further, the College also provides short courses in key strategic areas in all area such as computer course. The Short Courses are skills-based training courses designed to update the participant’s skills in current and emerging industry issues such as strategic Management, customer care, budgeting, conflict resolution and management, project management, marketing and communication, entrepreneurship and social media marketing.  In order to contribute to the society, the College carries out Research and consultancy in areas related to the programmes offered at the College.

The College has three departments which are Computer department, Education department and QT department. It expects to establish a department of laws. Four programmes are offered under the Education Department, Three programmes under the Computer Department and six programmes are under development in the QT Department. The college expects to soon begin offering Bachelor levels. The Diploma of ICT and Computer Science  have been approved by the relevant authorities and will be offered as soon the required staff are obtained.

It also supports other Colleges in training Entrepreneurship, Development Studies and Communication Skills.

The College has vibrant faculty made up of 10 academic members of staff in the College and their qualifications are as follows: three are senior lecturers, nine lecturers,25 Assistant Lecturers, six tutorial assistants and two instructors. Currently, 1,090 students are enrolled in the College.
